TWICE Drops New Album ‘THIS IS FOR’ to Celebrate 10th Anniversary

TWICE marks their 10th anniversary with the release of their 4th full-length album 'THIS IS FOR,' accompanied by a global tour and a thrilling Lollapalooza debut.

A Decade of TWICE, A New Chapter Begins

Celebrating their 10th anniversary since debuting on October 20, 2015, K-pop powerhouse TWICE has released their fourth full-length album, THIS IS FOR, along with the title track of the same name at 1 PM KST on July 11.

A Gift for ONCE, From TWICE

This album encapsulates messages like ‘THIS IS FOR YOU’, ‘THIS IS FOR ONCE’, and ‘THIS IS FOR EVERYONE’—symbolizing gratitude and dedication to fans and global listeners alike. It marks TWICE’s first studio album in 3 years and 8 months. According to statements from JYP Entertainment, the group crafted the album with heartfelt appreciation for ONCE—the group’s official fanbase—and the overwhelming support received throughout the past decade.

“We wanted this to be an album worthy of our 10th anniversary,” shared TWICE. “It’s a reflection of how we’ve progressed and how far we’ve come. We considered every detail so fans can see how much we’ve grown.”

Fans React to the Teasers

The excitement surrounding this release began early, as teaser contents showcasing unit tracks, concept photos, and stylistic shifts immediately stirred fan enthusiasm. From bold visuals to unexpected audio twists, fans commented, “So this is a new side of TWICE!”

In true TWICE fashion, the members were deeply involved in creating all aspects of the album, making it even more meaningful. “We’re grateful people noticed the new vibes we wanted to transmit—we’re still exploring new ways to express TWICE’s identity,” said the members.

The ‘SOWICE’ Work Ethic

Nicknamed “Sowice” (a mix of ‘TWICE’ and ‘cow’) for their tireless work ethic, TWICE continues to push boundaries with 14 new tracks and additional content, including solo lyric videos, Japanese albums, and collaborations.

“Our fans are our biggest motivation,” TWICE said. “We’ve prepared a lot to have fun with ONCE this summer, starting with the new album and moving straight into our world tour.”

Upcoming World Tour & Lollapalooza Debut

TWICE will kick off their THIS IS FOR world tour on July 19–20, featuring their first-ever 360-degree concerts—a move aimed at creating more immersive performances. Adding to their excitement, TWICE is set to perform as headliners at Lollapalooza Chicago on August 2.

“Just imagining dancing with fans at such a huge festival is thrilling,” they said. “We’re putting together a high-energy set that everyone can vibe to—even those hearing TWICE for the first time.”

Beyond Music Shows and Into Global Soundtracks

Recently, members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung contributed to the original soundtrack for Netflix’s global animation KPop Demon Hunters with the track TAKEDOWN. Their song Strategy is also featured in the project, with high expectations from global audiences.

Promotional Activities in Full Swing

TWICE will appear on Korea’s top music shows as part of their comeback promotions: KBS 2TV’s Music Bank (July 11), MBC’s Show! Music Core (July 12), and SBS’s Inkigayo (July 13).

With a power-packed comeback, summer world tour, and major festival appearance, TWICE continues to prove why they’re a defining figure in the global K-pop phenomenon.
