SEVENTEEN Proves Their Global Power Once Again
K-pop sensation SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) continues to dominate the music scene, clinching the top spot on the 2025 Circle Chart Mid-Year Album Ranking with their fifth full-length album HAPPY BURSTDAY.
Over 2.9 Million Albums Sold
The group achieved over 2.53 million in sales from the standard edition alone. Including additional releases like the Weverse and KiT versions, their total sales surpassed 2.92 million copies — putting them on track to become the first ‘triple million seller’ of the year.
Unit Projects Add to the Success
SEVENTEEN’s sub-unit BSS (BooSeokSoon: Seungkwan, DK, Hoshi) and the Hoshi x Woozi duo also racked up impressive numbers. BSS’s second single TELEPARTY sold over 686,000 copies, ranking in several chart categories. Hoshi x Woozi’s debut single BEAM charted at No. 31 on the main album list, adding to the group’s overall impact.
Past Albums Still Making Waves
Even older albums continued to chart: their 2023 mini-album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN ranked No. 93, while their 2022 full-length Face the Sun held the No. 99 spot. Altogether, SEVENTEEN has an impressive nine albums in the Circle Chart’s Top 100.
Chart Domination Across All Boards
The group’s dominance wasn’t limited to album sales. On the Global K-pop Chart, five tracks from HAPPY BURSTDAY, including title song THUNDER, made the list. Meanwhile, four songs ranked on the digital chart and an astonishing 19 tracks featured in the downloads chart — showcasing releases from both main group and unit projects, including Jeonghan’s Better Half (feat. Omoinotake).
Back-to-Back Success Years
SEVENTEEN topped annual album charts in both 2023 and 2024. Now, with 2025’s mid-year dominance confirmed, the group reaffirms its place among K-pop’s most elite acts — giving fans and the industry even more reason to follow their journey closely.
