NMIXX’s First Fan Meeting Brings Summer Vibes and Special Memories
NMIXX, the rising K-pop girl group under JYP Entertainment, hosted their first-ever fan meeting, ‘NSWER VACATION’, on July 12 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul. The event took place in two sessions — at 1 PM and 7 PM — with the latter also streamed online via Beyond LIVE, giving fans both locally and globally a chance to participate.
A Refreshing Start with Cool Summer Performances
Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, BAE, Jiwoo, and Kyujin kicked off the event in style, performing ‘Party O’Clock’ and ‘Roller Coaster’, setting the summer tone. The enthusiastic crowd, mostly dressed in the event’s white T-shirt and denim dress code, lit up the venue as members exclaimed, “We’ll make this the best summer vacation ever!”
Unit Stages Rediscover NMIXX’s Roots
One highlight of the fan meeting was the special unit performances that revisited their 2021 pre-debut content. Jiwoo and Kyujin showcased a bold dance to Cardi B’s ‘Press’, Sullyoon and BAE performed a groovy rendition of Halsey’s ‘Graveyard’, and Lily and Haewon stunned with powerful vocals in Destiny’s Child’s ‘Survivor’. The group reflected, “We were nervous, but wanted to show how much we’ve grown.”
Games, Music, and Scents — All for the Fans
The fan meeting wasn’t just about music. In the ‘Mix Six Sense’ game corner, fans shouted out hints to help the members complete challenges. During a dice game twist on Monopoly, fan cheers hit new highs as NMIXX tackled fun punishments through popular dances. Adding a unique touch, the group prepared a custom fragrance to fill the venue — a scent designed by NMIXX themselves for this special day.
Heartfelt Words and a Promise for the Future
Closing the event, NMIXX expressed their gratitude: “You’ve been with us from the beginning. Thanks to you, we’ve learned what love truly means.” As an encore, they performed tracks like ‘KNOW ABOUT ME’, ‘Ocean’, and ‘High Horse’, moving through the audience to connect up close. “We hope to become a source of comfort for our fans in all seasons,” they shared sincerely.
Surprise! First Concert Teaser Revealed
And just when fans thought the excitement was over, a surprise teaser appeared on the big screen, announcing NMIXX’s very first solo concert. Scheduled for November 29 and 30, this marks a major milestone for the group almost four years after debut.
