STAYC Unveils Concept Photos Ahead of Summer Comeback
K-pop girl group STAYC is turning up the summer heat with the reveal of concept images for their upcoming special single, ‘I WANT IT’, set to release on July 23.
Two Concepts, One Message
On July 13 and 14, STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J) released two sets of concept photos—SUN and BURN—through their official social media accounts.
The SUN version radiates tropical vibes with palm trees, blue skies, and an easy-going summer spirit. Captured under exotic sunlight, the members showcase refreshing smiles that echo the essence of a carefree summer day. Their bright energy delivers a breezy sense of freedom, perfect for midsummer.
In contrast, the BURN version channels a bolder and edgier tone. Set against the vibrant backdrop of an urban summer scene, the members exhibit charisma and confidence through vivid colors and street-chic styling—highlighting their fearless spirit.
Visual Storytelling of Self-Confidence
By shifting between contrasting moods, the concept photos encapsulate the theme of boldly shining in one’s own way, even in the midst of an unpredictable daily life. The group’s ability to effortlessly switch between soft and fierce showcases their growing versatility and visual creativity.
New Music Teased on Tour
Fans at the Oceania leg of STAYC’s second world tour, ‘STAY TUNED’, were treated to a sneak peek of the new track’s intro. The group’s energetic on-stage message and teaser performance have only fueled the hype for their official comeback.
Comeback Schedule and Global Plans
‘I WANT IT’ carries a message of embracing one’s imperfections with strength, reflecting STAYC’s signature theme of youth empowerment. The release will be accompanied by a series of content rollouts, including a music video teaser and a highlight medley. Fans can look forward to the early drop of the title track’s MV on July 21, ahead of the full release on the 23rd.
Following their comeback, STAYC will continue their ‘STAY TUNED’ world tour, strengthening their connection with global fans throughout the second half of the year.
