Cha Eunwoo Meets Fans in Japan with ‘THE ROYAL’ Fan Meeting

K-pop idol and rising actor Cha Eunwoo created unforgettable memories with fans in Japan before his upcoming military enlistment. On June 15, he hosted his solo fan meeting titled ‘THE ROYAL’ at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, making it a grand finale following a successful event in Seoul just days earlier.

A Night Fit for a Prince

True to its name, ‘THE ROYAL’ featured Cha dressed as a crown prince. This regal concept set the stage for an evening filled with laughter, fan interaction, and a showcase of his multi-talented charm. Various segments kept the energy high, including a personalized ‘Royal Test’ designed to challenge Cha Eunwoo’s looks, language skills, athleticism, and spontaneity.

From drawing self-portraits and playing basketball, to reciting Japanese tongue twisters fluently, Cha continued to impress fans with his versatility. It was clear the audience wasn’t just watching a celebrity—they were being entertained by a natural performer dedicated to connecting with them on every level.

Sweet Moments and Vocal Gifts

The night included a heartfelt corner where Cha responded to fans’ handwritten questions. With his gentle voice, he recited famous Japanese lines from the anime Your Name and the drama Eye Love You. He also recited lyrics from his solo track ‘Focus on Me’ in ASMR style, melting hearts across the arena.

Recently, Cha completed an 11km marathon, and during the fan meeting, he shared helpful stretching tips while revealing behind-the-scenes stories from the event. He also participated in lighthearted activities like sharing lottery number predictions and posing for photos with fans in various cute costumes—including a tennis uniform and a crown.

A Musical Finale with Surprises

Cha Eunwoo wowed the crowd with several live performances, including his mini album title song ‘STAY’ from ENTITY, released last year. To fans’ delight, he also unveiled an unreleased new song, making the atmosphere electric by the end of the evening.

What’s Next for Cha Eunwoo?

Despite preparing for enlistment, Cha Eunwoo isn’t slowing down. He’s scheduled to appear in the upcoming Netflix series The Wonderfuls and the film First Ride. His recent ‘Cha Eunwoo VR Concert: Memories’ also received global acclaim, highlighting his growing international reach.

Last month, he wrapped up The 4th ASTROAD [Stargraphy] concerts with ASTRO across Korea and Japan. With ‘THE ROYAL’ now added to his list of achievements, 2024 continues to be a banner year for the multi-hyphenate star.
