K-pop Rookie KiiiKiii Gears Up for August Comeback

Rookie K-pop group KiiiKiii ranks 19th in the Netizen Awards' music category as their August comeback approaches.

KiiiKiii Ranks in Netizen Awards Despite Being a Rookie

As of 5:50 p.m. on July 17, 2025, rookie girl group KiiiKiii secured the 19th spot in the Netizen Awards’ ‘Neostar Award’ category with 59 votes (0.1%). Although the vote count trails behind competitors, this early recognition is impressive for a group that debuted just four months ago.

Comeback Confirmed for August

On the same day, Starship Entertainment confirmed, “KiiiKiii is working hard in preparation for a comeback in August.” This marks the group’s return roughly five months after their debut album ‘UNCUT GEM’.

Early Success Fueled by Gen Z Appeal

With a trendy ‘Gen Z flair’ concept, KiiiKiii quickly rose to prominence after debut. They topped Hanteo’s weekly and daily album charts, took first place on Circle Chart’s retail album rankings, and claimed the top spot on Spotify’s Viral 50 Korea chart. Their debut title track, ‘I DO ME’, earned first place on YouTube’s Trending Charts and peaked at No.3 on Melon’s HOT100, signaling serious potential on domestic streaming platforms.

Fan Voting Could Boost Rankings

Although their current Netizen Awards rank remains modest, the timing of their comeback may trigger a fan-driven surge. If their supporters rally at the right moment, KiiiKiii could see a steep rise in the voting charts.

Staying Connected Through Weekly Original Content

To maintain close contact with their fans, KiiiKiii currently airs their first original web content series, ‘KiiiKiii PangPang’, every Wednesday at 7:25 p.m. Their upcoming comeback schedule will be revealed through their official social media channels.

As the August comeback draws nearer, eyes are on KiiiKiii to see if they can once again prove the star power of the ‘Gen Z idol’ generation.
