Kim Hyeyoon Dominates Netizen Awards as Fan Votes Surge

With just days left in July, all eyes are on actor Kim Hyeyoon, who's dominating the Netizen Awards' Best Actress category with over five times the votes of her closest competitor.

Kim Hyeyoon’s Lead Is No Joke

As the clock winds down on July, the battle for the top actress title at the annual Netizen Awards is heating up—but one name is clearly out in front. Actor Kim Hyeyoon has surged ahead with a commanding 47.3% of total votes as of July 29 at 4:15 PM KST, racking up 24,108 votes. That’s more than five times the tally of her closest competitor, Lee Seyoung, who’s sitting at 4,731 votes (9.3%).

Thanks to ‘Lovely Runner,’ She’s Not Slowing Down

This massive support wave follows the success of the time-slip K-drama Lovely Runner (Korean title: 선재 업고 튀어), where Kim Hyeyoon’s performance won over critics and fans alike. Her fandom has remained motivated and laser-focused ever since. If anything, they’ve only gotten stronger.

Middle Ranks Too Close to Call

The real nail-biter is happening in the middle tier. Jung Somin holds third place with 3,954 votes (7.8%), trailed closely by Shin Hyesun with 3,322 votes (6.5%) and Im Yoona with 3,202 votes (6.3%). With only a few hundred votes between them, any last-minute fandom push could rearrange the ranks entirely.

Both Shin Hyesun and Im Yoona have seen steady vote growth in recent days, hinting at surprise podium finishes if the momentum continues.

Underdogs Are Still in the Game

Even outside the top 10, names like Han Sunhwa (872 votes), Kim Yoojung (548 votes), and Jung Subin (275 votes) are drawing grassroots support. With just a couple of days left, their fans are banking on a late-stage comeback.

2 Days Left: Will the Plot Twist?

The clock is ticking, yet if there’s one thing Netizen Awards history has taught us, it’s that anything can happen in the final moments. Dramatic swings, upset victories, and underdog storylines have headlined past years—and with voting open for just a little longer, July’s final clicks could write a whole new ending.

This summer, it’s not just the heat—it’s the passion of fans deciding which actress shines brightest.
