Kim Tae-in, a two-division champion in ROAD FC, has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled fight at ROAD FC 072 on March 16 in Seoul’s Jangchung Arena due to a knee injury. The injury occurred during training when his knee twisted severely, prompting an immediate hospital visit. MRI scans confirmed a medial collateral ligament tear, requiring four weeks of treatment and rest. Despite his efforts to compete, the severity of his injury rendered him unable to fight. ROAD FC official Kim Dong-wook confirmed that Kim initially wanted to wait and assess his condition before making a final decision, but ultimately, he withdrew on March 14. Consequently, the originally planned bout between Yoon Tae-young and Burenjorig Batmunkh has been moved to the second card. The event will feature multiple high-profile bouts, including the middleweight title unification match between Hwang In-su and Lim Dong-hwan and a flyweight title match between Lee Jung-hyun and Ko Dong-hyuk.
