Creespy Bids Farewell with Sold-Out Concert Before Military Hiatus

Korean indie band Creespy held a special farewell concert before member Ha Dongjun's military enlistment, featuring unreleased tracks and a surprise guest appearance by BIG Naughty.

Farewell for Now: Creespy’s Last Show as a Five-Piece

Indie alt-pop band Creespy (members: Kim Seungyoon, Heo Minseok, Shin Seungho, Oh Jangho, Ha Dongjun) just wrapped up an emotional final concert before entering a temporary hiatus. Held on July 3 at Nodeulseom Live House in Seoul, the show was their last as a full five-member group, as Ha Dongjun heads off for mandatory military service in August.

New Sounds, Classic Vibes

Emphasizing it would be their “last performance as the full lineup” before Ha’s enlistment, Creespy delivered something special—revamped arrangements and acoustic reinventions of their signature tracks. The show opened with the fan-favorite “Bruiseboy”, setting a dreamlike vibe that continued through hits like “Jaded,” “You’re Just My Type,” and “daydreaming.”

The Surprise Nobody Saw Coming

Just when the energy hit its peak, surprise guest BIG Naughty (aka Seo Donghyun) stepped on stage to perform “Stay (남아있어)”, a recently released single featuring Creespy. His unexpected appearance brought an electrifying jolt to the concert’s already emotional tone.

Live-Only Tracks and a Trip Through Their Discography

Creespy treated fans to live-only tracks like “Say I love you” and “BING BING”—songs that aren’t available on streaming platforms—giving the audience a rare taste of their live-performance gems. The setlist offered a near-complete dive into their musical journey since their 2021 debut.

Ha Dongjun’s Message to Fans

After the show, Ha shared a heartfelt note through their label TAPES, saying, “It felt like I was saying goodbye through music. I’ll complete my service and come back with even better music. Please wait for me, I’ll be back safe and healthy.”

The band will carry on as a four-piece for now, with other members planning to enlist in turns as well.

Creespy Goes Global

Before this Seoul farewell, Creespy had their first international solo concert in Bangkok on June 21 under the show brand Very Live Presents. On top of that, they were selected as a TOP6 act in the 2025 Pentaport Super Rookie Project—a rising-artist spotlight during the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival—where they performed on the third stage on August 2.

With growing recognition—as musicians and global prospects—fans can expect an even stronger return post-hiatus.
