A groundbreaking showcase stage is about to change the game for K-pop idols making their comebacks. Hangang Fore ENM has unveiled ‘Hangang Fore Stage,’ a floating performance venue located on the rooftop of the Hangang Fore Dock near Yeouinaru Station.
With a breathtaking view of the Han River, this grand-scale music festival-style showcase will bring artists and fans together like never before. Currently, the Korean music industry faces a shortage of official showcase venues, especially large-scale ones that can accommodate massive audiences.
To bridge this gap, Hangang Fore ENM aims to establish ‘Hangang Fore Stage’ as a premier performance venue where idols can directly engage with their fans. Starting in September, the venue will host K-pop showcase performances alongside cultural attractions such as a K-pop history museum and fan meeting events on cruise ships.
Additionally, the third floor of the dock will house ‘Hangang Fore Vista Hall,’ a state-of-the-art indoor convention space with a panoramic view of the Han River. This multifunctional venue will be available for conferences, fan meetings, brand showcases, corporate events, weddings, and private parties, offering flexible stage and seating arrangements tailored to various occasions.
Hangang Fore ENM is set to redefine K-pop tourism by creating immersive fan experiences through diverse cultural content such as a K-pop merchandise store and interactive exhibitions. Industry experts predict that ‘Hangang Fore Dock’ will become a must-visit destination not only for domestic visitors but also for international K-pop fans.
This ambitious project is part of Seoul’s ‘Great Hangang Project,’ an initiative focused on urban development and cultural space expansion around the Han River. The venue’s completion is scheduled for May.
