DAY6 Drops Teasers for ‘The DECADE’ Album
It’s been a full 10 years since DAY6 made their debut, and the band is celebrating in style—both musically and visually. On July 20, JYP Entertainment unveiled sleek teaser photos of leader Sungjin for the group’s fourth studio album, ‘The DECADE’, which is set for release on September 5.
Sungjin’s Stylish Spotlight
In the newly released teaser image, Sungjin turns heads with an all-black semi-formal look. Striking a pose under the sunlit cityscape, his commanding gaze and understated charisma give off serious K-drama lead vibes. Yes, he may be holding a guitar off-camera—but visually, it’s straight out of a Netflix intro.
Behind the Name: The DECADE
The album’s title, ‘The DECADE’, is a nod to the English word symbolizing 10 years—a milestone DAY6 is embracing not just in name but in heart. Their 10-track album is stacked with songs written and composed by the members themselves, alongside longtime collaborator Hong Jisang. Expect tracks like ‘Dream Bus’ (the title track), ‘INSIDE OUT’, and ‘My Way’ to show fans just how far the band has evolved—with plenty of emotional throwbacks and fresh sounds.
10th Anniversary Tour: A First for Korean Bands
Before the album drops, DAY6 will reunite with their fandom, My Day, at a solo concert on August 30–31 at Goyang Sports Complex. Not only is this their 10th anniversary show, it’s also the first time a Korean band has held a solo concert at the venue, selling out every seat.
Mark Your Calendars
DAY6’s full album ‘The DECADE’ will be available on September 5 at 6 PM KST. Whether you’ve followed them since their busking days or just hopped on the K-band wagon, this comeback is shaping up to be more than just nostalgic—it’s iconic.
