Big Ocean, the world’s first deaf idol group, is making their much-anticipated comeback this April with a brand-new mini album. On March 21, their agency, Parastar Entertainment, confirmed the news, unveiling Big Ocean’s revamped logo.
The group, consisting of members Chanyeon, Hyunjin, and Jiseok, plans to introduce a more mature concept, departing from their previous bright and refreshing image. Their upcoming release marks their first comeback in approximately five months since the launch of their debut mini album, ‘Follow,’ in November.
Big Ocean’s name embodies their ambition to make a global impact, much like the vastness of the ocean. Since their official debut on April 20 last year, coinciding with Korea’s National Disabled Persons’ Day, the group has gained recognition through songs like ‘Glow,’ ‘BLOW,’ ‘SLOW (Feat. Young K of DAY6),’ and ‘FLOW,’ spreading positive energy and rapidly growing in popularity both in South Korea and internationally.
Building on their momentum, Big Ocean recently held their first solo concert, ‘Follow,’ in Nagoya, Japan, with great success. Now, they are gearing up for their first European tour, ‘Underwater,’ which represents awakening their hidden instincts and potential. The tour kicks off in Lausanne, Switzerland, on April 19-20, followed by stops in Milan, London, Paris, and Montpellier.
Fans are eagerly awaiting what Big Ocean has in store, as they continue to break barriers in the music industry and inspire audiences worldwide.
