Stray Kids Make Generous Donation Amid Worldwide Tour

Stray Kids have stepped up to aid wildfire victims in South Korea by donating a staggering ₩800 million KRW (approximately $590,000 USD). On April 1, the K-pop group contributed ₩400 million each to two organizations—Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and World Vision Korea—to support those affected in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions.

Emergency Aid for Fire Victims

The donation will help provide essential relief supplies, living expenses for displaced residents, and support for firefighters. Through their agency JYP Entertainment, the group stated, “We deeply empathize with residents who lost their daily lives in an instant. We also express our gratitude to everyone working tirelessly on recovery efforts.”

Consistent Acts of Kindness

Stray Kids are known for their dedication to philanthropy. Since 2014, they’ve supported overseas children, and in 2020, they donated boxed meals to low-income households in Korea. Their goodwill extended globally with a donation for earthquake relief in Syria and Türkiye in 2023, and they participated in global hunger relief initiatives in 2024. Notably, individual members have celebrated their birthdays by donating ₩100 million each—proving their commitment goes beyond music.

Connecting with Fans Around the Globe

Currently, Stray Kids are on their largest world tour to date, titled ‘Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE>’. Kicking off in Rio de Janeiro on April 1, the tour spans 34 shows across 22 cities, including stops in Latin America, Japan, North America, and Europe, scheduled through late July. Their live performances continue to build strong global connections, spreading messages of resilience and unity.

More Than Just Idols

This charitable act further solidifies Stray Kids’ identity as responsible global citizens. Their donation resonates with their music’s themes of hope and strength, reinforcing their positive influence not only as performers but as role models. The group is expected to continue using their platform to bring hope and encouragement to many around the world.
