TWS Shares Peek into Their 20s with New Mini Album
On June 11 at 10 PM KST, rising K-pop group TWS (members Shinyu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin) released the tracklist for their upcoming third mini album, ‘TRY WITH US’, via their official social media channels.
A Story of Youth in Six Songs
The album features six songs in total, including the intriguingly titled lead single, “Isn’t It Cool to Follow Your Heart?”. The track list also includes “Lucky to be loved,” “Random Play,” “Freestyle,” “Now Playing (Midnight Movie),” and “GO BACK.”
The sentimental title track expresses the vibrant energy of youth, encouraging listeners to chase moments that make their hearts race. As TWS describes it, the song is their “anthem for being twenty,” embracing spontaneous passion and ambition.
Each Song, A Chapter of Being Twenty
The album is designed as a musical diary of young adulthood. From “Lucky to be loved,” which reflects gratitude toward those who love us despite our imperfections, to “Random Play,” capturing the thrill of a spontaneous trip with friends—each track paints a vivid image of youthful experiences.
“Freestyle” explores the brave chaos of following one’s instincts, while “Now Playing (Midnight Movie)” recounts the excitement of watching a late-night film with high school friends for the first time. Rounding out the album, “GO BACK” dives into the members’ introspective thoughts as they encounter unfamiliar emotions.
Comeback Preparations in Full Swing
‘TRY WITH US’ is scheduled to drop on June 21 at 6 PM KST, symbolizing youthful courage in trying new things. Following the album’s track sampler release, the group has teased fans with light and refreshing “cheong-ryang beats”—a musical term in K-pop for clean, bright melodies—building anticipation for the album’s launch.
Leading up to the release, TWS will unveil a highlight medley on June 14, and two official teasers for the title track on June 17 and 19. The group will mark their comeback day with a showcase event, promising a festive celebration with their fandom, 42.
One thing is certain—TWS is ready to sprint into their twenties, hearts first.
