Double Billboard Success: ‘GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3’ Lands at No.2 on Billboard 200
On June 13, ATEEZ released their 12th mini album, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3, and the global response was immediate. As of Billboard’s June 28 chart, the album debuted at No.2 on the Billboard 200, the highest position ever achieved by a K-pop act on the chart this year. In just its first week, the album recorded over 100,000 sales—making it the best-selling K-pop release of the year in the U.S.
Tops Multiple Charts and Hits Billboard Hot 100
That’s not all. ATEEZ also conquered several Billboard sub-charts, taking the No.1 spot on ‘Top Album Sales,’ ‘Top Current Album Sales,’ and ‘World Albums.’ The group also landed at No.2 on the influential ‘Artist 100’ chart.
The success didn’t stop with physical sales. The album’s title track, “Lemon Drop,” entered the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time ever, debuting at No.69. With this, ATEEZ became one of the select few K-pop acts to simultaneously chart on both the Billboard 200 and Hot 100—a major milestone in their career.
B-Sides Get Love Too
More than just a one-track wonder, ATEEZ’s B-sides are also making waves. “Lemon Drop” ranked No.1 on ‘World Digital Song Sales’ and No.9 on ‘Digital Song Sales.’ Other tracks like “Castle” and “Masterpiece” also secured spots at No.8 and No.9, respectively, proving the album’s widespread appeal.
Special Edition, More to Come
Riding high on their success, ATEEZ isn’t slowing down. On June 25, their agency KQ Entertainment surprised fans with a teaser video and the announcement of a special In Your Fantasy Edition of GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3.
The short teaser featured a mysterious crimson light falling onto a masked display inside a glass case, ending with the caption, “In case you’re not ready yet, take it.” The cryptic clip hints at even more surprises to come, building anticipation among fans worldwide.
