Han Celebrates His Birthday with a Meaningful Gesture
Who says birthdays are all about cake and candles? Han of Stray Kids chose a deeper way to celebrate. On his special day, the rapper and vocalist donated 100 million won (approximately $75,000 USD) to Seoul’s Samsung Medical Center.
Supporting Both Adults and Children
According to JYP Entertainment, the donation was thoughtfully split: half will go toward treatment and care for adult patients with serious illnesses, while the other half will help support pediatric and youth patients.
“I’m grateful to fans who helped me start this day with such a meaningful act,” Han said. “I hope this donation brings strength and courage to those who need it most.”
A Consistent Record of Giving
This isn’t Han’s first time spreading love beyond the music scene. Back in April, during devastating wildfires in Korea’s Ulsan, Gyeongnam, and Gyeongbuk regions, Stray Kids collectively donated a whopping 800 million won (around $600,000 USD) to relief efforts via Hope Bridge Association of the National Disaster Relief and World Vision.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids Keeps Making History
Not only is Han touching hearts with his generosity, he’s also dominating charts with his music. Stray Kids’ latest full-length album, “KARMA”, has remained number one on the Billboard 200 for seven consecutive weeks, proving they’re here to stay—in the charts and fans’ hearts.
Final Thoughts
With Han’s heart of gold and Stray Kids’ record-breaking success, it’s hard not to stan. It’s clear the group knows how to give back—to both their fans and society.
