IVE Rocks Japan’s Biggest Music Fest with Exclusive First Performances

K-pop girl group IVE stole the show during their debut stage at Japan’s biggest music festival, rocking a 10-track setlist, including a Japanese debut and the first-ever live performance of their new hit.

IVE Makes Power-Packed Debut at Rock in Japan Festival

On September 15, K-pop’s six-member sensation IVE made their first-ever appearance at ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025, one of Japan’s largest music festivals. Despite it being their debut, the group dominated the festival’s main LOTUS STAGE, captivating the massive crowd with a full-scale 10-song set.

Starting Strong: ‘REBEL HEART’ Sets the Tone

IVE didn’t ease in—they exploded onto the stage with a live band version of ‘REBEL HEART’, their recent chart-topper. The energy soared as they launched into ‘I AM’, showing off their fierce performance chops and instantly electrifying the audience.

Back-to-Back Bangers and Fan Favorites

The group charged forward with hits like ‘ATTITUDE’, ‘Kitsch’, and ‘HEYA’, making it clear they came prepared to leave a lasting impression. During the first MC break, each member introduced themselves with trademark charm and confidence.

Ray’s Big Surprise: First Performances and Japanese Versions

Then came an unexpected gift from Japanese member Ray. “We’re excited to perform our Japanese debut single ‘ELEVEN -Japanese ver.-,’ and for the first time ever, showcase ‘Be Alright,’ our newest track from the Japanese 3rd EP,” she beamed. The crowd went wild.

The performance rolled into ‘DARE ME’, previously used as a drama opening song in Japan, before revealing the highly anticipated ‘Be Alright’—its first live stage ever. The members interacted with fans up close, reaching the edge of the stage, igniting even more cheers. Talk about fan service done right.

‘XOXZ’ & Grand Finale

IVE wasn’t done just yet. Bringing their A-game, they delivered a band version of ‘XOXZ’, proving their musical versatility knows no bounds. Wrapping things up, they sent love to both longtime fans and newcomers before closing with their mega-hit ‘After LIKE’.

IVE’s Meteoric Rise Continues

2024 has already been a record-breaking year. Their Japanese 3rd EP ‘Be Alright’ topped the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking and set the highest weekly points for a foreign female artist in Japan this year. Meanwhile, their latest Korean EP ‘IVE SECRET’ clocked 70 music show wins—a jaw-dropping milestone.

And they’re just getting started. This October, IVE kicks off their second global tour, “IVE WORLD TOUR ‘SHOW WHAT I AM’,” starting in South Korea and heading worldwide.

What’s Next for IVE?

From surprise debuts to record-smashing EPs, IVE keeps rewriting the playbook. As the group’s global appeal surges and their setlists get bolder, fans everywhere are asking: What will IVE do next?
