In April 2025, Samsung Electronics proved its unshakable popularity by claiming the No.1 spot for the 20th straight month in the Netizen Awards Corporate Ranking. This ongoing feat reflects consistent online support through public voting alone. The tech giant earned 1,392 votes, accounting for 40.4% of the total.

AI-Powered Campaign Reunites Iconic Models

Samsung recently launched a nostalgic campaign titled “AI Home Appliance Troika,” featuring three of its former star models—figure skating legend Kim Yuna, actress Han Ga-in, and superstar Jun Ji-hyun. The campaign reintroduces their famous advertisements for air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators—Samsung’s ‘top three’ appliances—this time promoting the brand’s AI-powered smart devices.

The ad brings together these beloved faces to tap into both nostalgia and cutting-edge innovation, resonating with longtime fans and tech-savvy consumers alike.

Fierce Corporate Rivalries Continue

Other major Korean corporations also placed prominently in the April Netizen Awards. Hyundai Motor Company secured second place with 739 votes (21.5%), while LG came in third with 692 votes (20.1%). These companies are narrowing the gap in a highly competitive race for consumer recognition and loyalty.

Lotte followed with 407 votes (11.8%), and Shinsegae ranked fifth with 179 votes (5.2%). International giants like Netflix (18 votes; 0.5%) and Louis Vuitton (7 votes; 0.2%) also appeared on the list, reflecting their global appeal among Korean consumers. Chanel, Coupang, and Moncler also received votes, indicating a broad range of fan bases.
