SELF BEAUTY’s New Lip Care Drops in Japan—But Only at Don Quijote

Korean beauty brand SELF BEAUTY is launching its new lip care line in Japan exclusively at Don Quijote stores starting September 17, 2025.

Ahead of the Trend: SELF BEAUTY Arrives in Japan

K-Beauty fans in Japan, get ready to pucker up. Popular Korean cosmetics brand SELF BEAUTY just announced that its new lip care collection is launching at Don Quijote stores across the country starting September 17, 2025.

The brand’s new lineup—two lip treatment products under the “UNICONIC” series—will be exclusively available at about 300 Don Quijote stores nationwide for one month before hitting wider distribution.

What’s in the Collection?

SELF BEAUTY is introducing two core items: a Goodnight Lip Mask and an All-Day Lip Treatment Balm. Each product blends skin-loving ingredients with signature Korean formulations that fans across Asia have fallen for.

SELF BEAUTY UNICONIC Goodnight Lip Mask

  • Kakadu Plum: Deeply hydrates lips overnight with a vitamin C-rich formula derived from Australian superfruits.
  • Rosehip & Collagen: Nourishes dry lips while boosting elasticity thanks to collagen-infused care.
  • Cool Mint & Rosemary: Soothes lips with a refreshing herbal twist—perfect after a long day (or Netflix binge).

Each lip mask is priced at ¥1,800 (tax excluded).

SELF BEAUTY UNICONIC All-Day Lip Treatment Balm

This pocket-sized balm is designed for 24/7 hydration and touch-ups. Great for on-the-go relief when dry lips strike mid-meeting—or mid-smooch.

Available in four variations, each balm will retail for ¥1,400 (tax excluded).

Why the Buzz Is Real

SELF BEAUTY is already a go-to in Korea’s hyper-competitive beauty scene, known for stylish packaging and science-forward skincare. This limited-time release gives Don Quijote shoppers a unique chance to try these cult products in person before they go mainstream.

Beauty influencer Momo K. posted, “Finally! Love that Japan’s getting these first. The mint one is already in my cart.”

Final Glow-Down

This launch blends K-beauty’s skincare savvy with Japan’s love for innovation. If you’re near a Don Quijote, make a detour and try them before they’re everywhere.

Which scent would you try first—cool mint, floral rosehip, or fruity superfruit?
