As of 6:24 p.m. on May 5, Son Taejin is dominating the race in the Broadcasting category of the May Netizen Awards, securing a commanding 65.4% of the vote with 3,551 ballots cast. His overwhelming lead puts him well ahead of second-place Kian84, who has gathered 504 votes (9.3%).
This performance follows Son’s previous win in the same category last month, reinforcing his status as a fan-favorite on Korean television. His solid fandom continues to drive strong participation, suggesting that his frontrunner status is likely to be maintained—at least for now.
Fierce Battle for Second Between Kian84, Lee Chanwon, and Yoo Jaesuk
While Son Taejin leads by a wide margin, the real battle is shaping up for the second-place spot. Kian84 currently holds it, but with Lee Chanwon (355 votes, 6.5%) and Yoo Jaesuk (353 votes, 6.5%) just behind, the competition could heat up in the coming days.
Industry watchers note that voter turnout and fan mobilization in the latter half of the month could shift these rankings, especially if fans of the contenders rally hard.
Position Changes Possible in the Midfield Rankings
