Park Hyung Sik Kicks Off New Chapter with a Bang

Actor and singer Park Hyung Sik made a splash in Japan with his very first solo fan concert, “PARK HYUNG SIK 2025 FANCON [BEGINNING],“ held over two days on September 13 and 14 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The event drew an impressive crowd of over 15,000 fans, all eager to witness Hyung Sik’s emotional return to the stage.

A Night of Drama OSTs and Sweet Surprises

The concert kicked off with the fan favorite “Shine On You”, setting the mood for a setlist packed with hits from K-dramas Park has starred in. From “Youth of May” to “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon,” fans were treated to live renditions of beloved OSTs like “Because It’s You,” “I’m Here,” and “Lean On Me.” Each song stirred memories for fans who’ve followed him onscreen and now onstage.

Hyung Sik Gets Candid with Fans

In a special “ON Hyung Sik, OFF Hyung Sik” talk segment, the actor gave fans a peek into his life beyond the camera. A cheekily titled “SIKcret Q&A” session had him answering everything from his favorite drama character to what song he sings in the shower — yes, really.

New Songs, New Emotions

The fan concert also marked the live debut of “Koishikute Aitakute” (translated as “Yearning to See You”), a tender, emotional ballad that had the audience swooning. He also revisited “I Love You Girl,” a track previewed during his 2023 fan meeting. Backed by the live crowd’s enthusiastic chants, Park’s vocals soared — a perfect showcase of his musical evolution.

“This Felt Like a Fresh Start”

Reflecting on the concert, Hyung Sik shared, “Getting to meet my Japanese fans again with my first mini album and fan concert was truly meaningful. This feels like a new beginning, and I’m grateful we could experience it together.”

Fresh off wrapping the KBS drama “TWELVE” and riding high on the release of his debut Japanese mini album BEGINNING, Park Hyung Sik is clearly hitting his stride — and showing no signs of slowing down.

Whether it’s acting, singing, or connecting with fans, Park Hyung Sik is proving he’s more than just a pretty face. With his Japan tour wrapped and a new album out in the world, fans everywhere are wondering: where will he go next?
