Dayoung Shines in Her Third Appearance as MC
[CBC News] Dayoung of K-pop girl group WJSN (Cosmic Girls) showcased her charismatic MC skills once again on KBS 1TV’s Scout 6: Early Adapter, which aired on June 6. This time, her journey took her to Daejeon Shinil Girls’ High School, famously known for nurturing highly talented students.
A Surprising First Encounter
From the moment she stepped into the classroom, Dayoung was caught off guard by the students casually reading comic books during class. Soon she discovered that the students were part of the school’s unique ‘Cultural Content and Comics Program.’ Bonding instantly, Dayoung shared her favorite childhood books and comics, exchanging laughs and nostalgia with the students.

There, she learned how colors influence appetite and behavior, and was amazed to find out why fast food restaurants often use red. Displaying strong curiosity and enthusiasm, she immersed herself in learning, praising the students for their handmade posters promoting Early Adapter.

Following the class, Dayoung visited the school’s gallery showcasing student artworks. “Feels like a real exhibition hall,” she commented in awe. She also took time to interact with students in a cozy snack party, openly chatting about their reasons for enrolling and the perks of their school life—truly living up to her “Gen Z empathy fairy” nickname.

The adventure continued as Dayoung explored the school’s Media Arts Department. Surrounded by professional-grade cameras, she and the students explored various filming techniques. In a fun twist, they filmed a parody promotional video inspired by the hit movie Exhuma, marking a memorable learning experience. Her performance in the student-produced short film earned applause in the studio.
