Dark Deals and Deadly Secrets: ‘Eye Shopping’ Arrives

Starting November 21, KNTV kicks off the Japan premiere of ‘Eye Shopping ~ The Returned Children’, a grisly thriller based on a popular webtoon. The story pulls back the curtain on an illegal adoption agency catering to the rich—where children are trafficked like products, and those “returned” are meant to vanish forever.

Won Jin-ah stars as Ah-hyun, the resilient leader of the discarded children who dare to fight back. On the opposite side of morality is Yeom Jung-ah, who plays Se-hee—a revered medical foundation CEO with a sinister secret as the mastermind behind the operation.

“It’s a gripping blend of survival and revenge with a dash of dystopia,” says one early viewer. If you’re into dark dramas with strong female leads, this one should make your watchlist.

KNTV will air two episodes each Friday night, starting at 8 PM JST, across a total of 8 episodes.

The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun: Vengeance Gets Personal

And just five days later on November 26, *‘Woman Who Swallowed the Sun’* debuts, marking Jang Shin-young’s comeback after three years off-screen. This daily drama (or il-il drama in Korean lingo) centers on a mother entangled in a powerful family’s web of lies and injustice.

Her daughter is wrongfully accused of a crime, and when the system fails them, revenge becomes the only language left to speak. Think Revenge meets Penthouse with 120 episodes of heartbreak, plotting, and sweet retaliation.

The drama also stars Seo Ha-jun, Yoon Ah-jung, and Oh Chang-suk, making it a multi-generation war of the wills.

Episodes will air every Wednesday, with four back-to-back episodes starting at 8 PM JST.

Justice Isn’t Always Pretty—But It’s Addictive

Whether you’re drawn to the emotional rawness of betrayed youth in Eye Shopping or the fiery retribution of a wronged mother in Woman Who Swallowed the Sun, these KNTV premieres promise edge-of-your-seat drama, moral gray zones, and powerful performances.

Which story of revenge will you be tuning in for?
