ITZY Makes a Powerful Comeback After Eight Months
K-pop sensation ITZY — consisting of Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna — officially marked their return on July 9 with the release of a new mini-album titled Girls Will Be Girls. This marks their first release in nearly eight months since GOLD and also commemorates their 6th debut anniversary.
Five Tracks, One Sisterhood
The album features a total of five tracks: the title track ‘Girls Will Be Girls’, alongside ‘Kiss & Tell’, ‘Locked N Loaded’, ‘Promise’, and ‘Walk’. Each song weaves together ITZY’s message of empowerment and their unbreakable bond, built over six years of performing together.
The title track stands out with its dynamic beat and strong vocal harmonies, carrying a message of solidarity and self-confidence. As the lyrics proclaim, “If we can be together, that’s more than enough. I’m ready to hold your hand and walk forward with you.”
Performance Queens Gear Up for Summer Stage
Following a massive second world tour, ITZY 2ND WORLD TOUR <BORN TO BE>, which included 32 shows across 28 cities, the group is set to heat up the stage again at Waterbomb Seoul 2025 this July. Known for their electrifying performances and precise choreography, fans eagerly await the group’s return to live events.
With the new album, ITZY not only reaffirms their bond as a sisterhood but also their unwavering determination to grow stronger together. “We’ve built this journey side by side, and we’re not done yet,” the group seems to shout through their music.

The mini-album Girls Will Be Girls dropped at 6 p.m. (KST) on July 9, with a special countdown live event held with fans an hour prior. Through catchy beats and heartfelt lyrics, ITZY continues to write their musical legacy — one dazzling comeback at a time.
