Jin Launches Solo Tour Filled with Joy, Music, and ARMY Love
BTS’s Jin is stepping into the spotlight on his own. Ahead of his first ever solo fan concert tour #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, he shared his excitement and nervous anticipation with fans, known as ARMY. The tour kicks off on June 28 and 29 at the auxiliary stadium of Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang, South Korea.
“Although I feel nervous doing a fan concert alone for the first time, I’m extremely excited to meet ARMY,” Jin said via his agency BigHit Music. “I’ve prepared diligently to make this show fun and joyful—please come and enjoy it with me.”
Interactive Fan Experience Designed with ARMY in Mind
More than just a concert, Jin promises a shared experience. “There are lots of sing-along moments,” he explained, emphasizing the interactive nature of the show. “I hope everyone sings and jumps with me. If those who come can remember this moment as joyful and happy, I’ll be more than satisfied.”
The tour is a spinoff of Jin’s personal entertainment content Run Seokjin, and is themed as a “journey” to meet fans around the world. As the title suggests, ‘running’ to his fans captures the essence of this lovingly curated tour.
From Korea to the World—Jin’s Global Journey Begins
Following the launch in Goyang, Jin’s tour will visit nine major cities including Chiba and Osaka in Japan; Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the US; London in the UK; and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. In total, he’ll perform 18 shows across these locations.
To reach even more fans, the initial Goyang performance will be live-streamed on a giant screen at Seoul’s Jamsil Indoor Stadium and also made available on fan platform Weverse.
