Back Together After Two Years—And Still Just TEENTOP
Fifteen years since their debut, TEENTOP has returned in full force—with a new album and a fresh wave of fan events lighting up Japan. On August 21, the group dropped “Just 15, Just TEENTOP”, their latest mini-album, signaling not a nostalgic throwback, but a powerful reminder that they’re not going anywhere.
Japan Welcomes the Kings of Consistency
From September 20 to 27, the group is holding release events in four venues across Tokyo and Osaka. These aren’t your average album signings. There are live mini performances, fan games, playful MC segments in Japanese, and heaps of ANGEL love (that’s the official fandom name, by the way).
And the cherry on top? Literally—lead single “Cherry Pie” carries a warm, first-love charm that’s pure TEENTOP. “We’re not the types to change just because time passes,” said NIEL. “Even when we’re messing around, we go right back to how we were as teens.”
Fanmeet Hype: Old Favorites, New Surprises
Concert-style fanmeetings are also set for September 22 in Tokyo and September 28 in Osaka, split into two sessions per day. Think exclusive performances, throwback hits, and a few surprise tracks that didn’t even make the Korean concert setlist. “We added fan favorites that we haven’t performed in years,” teased CHANGJO. “Hope it feels special!”
15 Years Strong—And They’re Still Having Fun
From debuting as teens to celebrating 15 years together, the band says the magic really hasn’t changed. “Aside from getting taller and maybe buffer,” laughed CHUNJI, “recording, prepping, and performing together still feels exactly the same.”
RICKY added, “Being together every step of the way with our fans for a decade and a half—that’s the real gift.”
ANGELs, Get Ready to Snap Away
At all fanmeetings, fans are allowed to film and take photos with their smartphones—a detail that’s rare, and highly appreciated. Full venue details, schedules, and ticket info have been shared by FC LIVE ENTERTAINMENT, with general admission priced at ¥10,400.
Just TEENTOP, Just ANGEL
With their signature playful energy and voices stronger than ever, TEENTOP is clearly not just back—they never really left. “We’ll keep working hard so we can always be together,” said CHUNJI. “Like our album says, we’re Just TEENTOP. And you’re Just ANGEL.”
Now that’s a K-pop love story worth streaming.
