What’s in Felix’s fridge? A whole lot of shabu-shabu
On a recent episode of JTBC’s variety show “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator”, Felix of Stray Kids showed fans what fuels his enviable physique. The September 21 broadcast featured fellow K-pop idols NCT’s Chenle and Mark, as well as Stray Kids’ Lee Know and Felix. The main event? A fridge-themed cook-off using the idol’s actual kitchen supplies.
Two dorms, two fridges
Because the Stray Kids members live in separate dorms, their fridge contents were clearly divided—even on set. Felix brought supplies from his own place, and fans quickly noticed the star item in his stash: ingredients for shabu-shabu, a Japanese-style hot pot that’s also popular in Korea for its light and healthy vibe.
“I love shabu-shabu. It’s something I rely on a lot for body management,” Felix explained with a shy smile. “It’s easy to prepare, not heavy, and really delicious with the right sauce.” His go-to? Chili sauce, and he had not one, not two, but three bottles in his fridge. “I really like this sauce with shabu-shabu,” he added, prompting host Ahn Jung-hwan to joke about Felix’s mini hot sauce museum.
Felix’s delivery food confessions
Felix also opened up about his go-to takeout orders. “I definitely order shabu-shabu often. But I also love steak and creamy pasta. I’ve been ordering those a lot too.” For a guy balancing idol life, photoshoots, and world tours, it’s all about smart indulgence—and apparently, a well-stocked sauce shelf.
What’s next?
Between surprise mukbang moments and peek-a-boo fridges, K-pop stars keep finding new ways to connect with fans. And Felix’s health-conscious foodie charm? It’s just another reason fans keep coming back for more.
