H1-KEY Climbs Charts With Summer Comeback ‘Lovestruck’

K-pop girl group H1-KEY makes a powerful return with their mini-album 'Lovestruck,' climbing charts both in Korea and overseas with their infectious summer title track.

H1-KEY Sets Summer on Fire With New Album

H1-KEY is back—and they’re making waves. The rising K-pop girl group dropped their fourth mini-album ‘Lovestruck’ on June 26, and the release is already sparking a serious chart streak.

The album’s title track ‘Remember That Summer’ (Korean title: 여름이었다) debuted at No. 19 on the Melon Hot 100 right after its release. That’s not all—it’s also charting on iTunes album rankings in New Zealand and Canada, while songs from the album have entered charts across Apple Music Turkey, Hong Kong, and the Japanese K-pop charts.

Older Tracks Catch a Second Wind

The summery synth-beat anthem, paired with a high-powered performance, is striking a chord with fans worldwide. It’s so impactful that past hits are experiencing newfound attention. Tracks like ‘Rose Blooming Between Buildings’ (from their debut EP) and ‘Let It Burn’ (from mini-album 3) are both showing signs of climbing back up the charts.

A New Era After a Year-long Wait

‘Lovestruck’ marks H1-KEY’s first album release in nearly a year since their 2023 mini-album ‘LOVE or HATE’. The latest comeback flaunts a broader musical spectrum, showcasing the group’s growth and evolving musical identity.

From Rookie to Rising Star

H1-KEY gained mainstream recognition with the breakout success of ‘Rose Blooming Between Buildings’—a song that proved they had both popularity and credibility. Later that year, they won their first-ever music show award with the sleek urban track ‘SEOUL’, and even featured on the digital cover of the UK’s iconic music magazine NME, solidifying their status as one of K-pop’s most promising girl groups.

Continuing Their Comeback on Music Shows

To support their return, the group took the stage on Korean music shows like Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ and KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’. They’re scheduled to appear on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ today (June 28), followed by SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ tomorrow, keeping the comeback momentum alive.

With strong music, dynamic performances, and growing international recognition, H1-KEY is proving that they’re more than just a seasonal sensation—they’re here to stay.
