NMIXX Is Ready To Break Hearts (and Charts) with ‘Blue Valentine’
Mark your calendars: October 13 is officially NMIXX Day.
On September 24, JYP Entertainment unveiled the full tracklist for NMIXX’s first full-length album, ‘Blue Valentine’, sending NSWERs (that’s NMIXX’s fandom name) into full-on comeback mode. The album includes 12 tracks, kicking off with the title song “Blue Valentine.”
From Heartfelt to Hype: The 12-Track Lineup
Here’s what fans can expect: songs like “SPINNIN’ ON IT,” “Phoenix,” and “Reality Hurts” show off NMIXX’s range across emotional ballads and explosive anthems. Notably, members Haewon and LILY flex their lyric-writing skills on the tracks “PODIUM,” “Crush On You,” and “Reality Hurts,” giving fans a deeper look into their artistry.
But the real buzz? Track 11 and 12: “O.O Part 1 (Baila)” and “O.O Part 2 (Superhero)”. These aren’t remixes—they’re full-on reimaginings of NMIXX’s debut single “O.O.” Inspired by MIXPOP—the group’s signature genre that fuses multiple styles into a single track—these two versions split the O.O energy into distinct mood-driven performances.
What’s Next for NMIXX?
With the official digital release set for October 13 at 6PM KST, all eyes (and ears) are on what could be NMIXX’s biggest musical moment yet. Fans won’t have to wait long to catch them live either—the group is set to hold their first solo concert on November 29 and 30, making this comeback extra meaningful.
Can NMIXX push the boundaries of K-pop again while staying true to their multi-genre roots? If ‘Blue Valentine’ is anything to go by, the answer is a resounding yes.
