A Charismatic Comeback in Style

TVXQ’s Yunho is back in the spotlight—and he’s making it fashion. The K-pop idol graces the pages of GQ Korea’s October issue with a bold, colorful photoshoot that showcases his trademark charisma and ever-evolving charm.

In the spread, Yunho effortlessly switches between expressive poses and minimal styling, playing off accessories with confidence. According to the crew on set, his commanding presence had everyone applauding between takes. Sometimes, all it takes is a look—and no one delivers that like Yunho.

Reflecting on His Acting Turn: A Disney+ Debut

During the accompanying interview, Yunho opened up about his latest acting role in the Disney+ original series Race (Korean title “Pine: The Ruffians”). The show marked a turning point for the artist, who celebrated 20 years since his debut by intentionally stepping into unfamiliar territory.

“It was part of my journey to rebrand myself,” Yunho explained. “Playing Bolg, I really wanted to understand his world. So I went to Mokpo, talked to local taxi drivers, and immersed myself in the regional and historical setting.”

He also spoke highly of director Kang Yoon-sung, saying their in-depth conversations helped bring the character and story to life. Fans and critics alike responded positively—proof that Yunho’s risk paid off.

A Full Album on the Horizon

But that’s not all. Yunho revealed he’s working on a full-length album as a heartfelt thank-you to his longtime fans. “Everything I’ve been able to do is thanks to the fans who waited for me,” he said. “I’m pouring everything into making this next album feel like a gift.”

And with that, Yunho is setting the stage for a spectacular return not just in acting—but in music too. The countdown begins.
