When hunger strikes, Jungkook doesn’t dial delivery—he goes chef mode

On the night of the 28th, Jungkook of BTS treated fans to a cozy, impromptu livestream titled “I’m hungry” on Weverse. What followed wasn’t just a mukbang—it was basically his own version of a cooking show.

The menu? Truffle cream pasta straight out of a fine-dining playbook.

Chef JK in the kitchen

First things first, Jungkook sharpened his knife like a pro. He then sliced onions and mushrooms with ease, showcasing smooth and confident knife skills. Next, he sautéed the veggies in a pan, added pasta water, butter, milk, and luxurious truffle oil, then tossed in the noodles. A generous helping of shredded cheese was the finishing touch.

The result? A visually restaurant-worthy plate that instantly made fans hungry—even through the screen.

“It tastes just like the one I had at a restaurant”

“I went to a restaurant recently and had truffle pasta,” Jungkook shared mid-meal. “I really liked it, so I decided to try making it myself. It’s not exactly the same, but honestly? It’s pretty close. And made just the way I like it.”

He beamed with satisfaction as he dug in—proving he’s not only the golden maknae on stage, but apparently in the kitchen, too.

Oh, and there was dessert

After polishing off his pasta, Jungkook turned to dessert duty. With a cheeky smile, he cracked an egg one-handed—“Cool, right?” he quipped, clearly enjoying the moment—and whipped up fluffy scrambled eggs.

He layered his toast with butter and strawberry jam, placed the eggs on top, and took a big bite. “This is the ‘scariest’ kind of delicious,” he said, hinting that he might overindulge if not careful.

Yes, he’s still dieting

Despite the indulgent feast, Jungkook reassured fans he’s still keeping things in check. “I’m watching what I eat. I stopped drinking soda and coffee—just sparkling water now,” he revealed. He added that he’s been exercising regularly too, mentioning plans for a Han River run later in the day. “You’ve got to stay healthy, right?”

Comeback seasoning in progress

While fans loved this wholesome broadcast, the best part might be what it hints at—BTS is eyeing a full group comeback next spring. Until then, Jungkook’s solo moments like this keep ARMYs well-fed—emotionally and virtually.
