A Night of Fireworks, Family, and Fun
What do you get when you mix a sky full of fireworks, rooftop vibes, and a surprise K-pop power player? HYBE Family Night 2025.
On May 27, HYBE brought the magic back for its third annual internal celebration, held at its sleek headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul. Timed perfectly with the always-buzzy Seoul World Fireworks Festival, this invite-only event gave employees, their families, and loved ones a front-row pass to a sky-high spectacle over the Han River.
Only 73 Lucky Families Made the Cut
Let’s talk numbers. Out of 936 eager applicants, only 73 families (about 250 people total) scored a golden ticket through a lucky draw—making it a harder invite to snag than backstage BTS passes.
HYBE HQ’s rooftop—possessing one of the best panoramic views of Han River’s fireworks—was decked out into a dreamy “sky garden” complete with floral photo zones, a picnic-style ambiance, and plenty of Insta-worthy moments.
Bang Si Hyuk Steals the Show
Just when the night couldn’t get any more lit (pun intended), HYBE founder and chairman Bang Si Hyuk made a surprise appearance. He mingled with employees and their guests, posed for photos, and even enjoyed the fireworks alongside the crowd. Talk about CEO goals.
“We wanted this to be more than a company perk,” said an event organizer. “It’s about giving back to the families who stand behind our teams, and creating genuine, shared joy.”
Work Meets Home: HYBE Family Day
This wasn’t the only family-centric event on HYBE’s calendar. Earlier in May—known in Korea as ‘Family Month’—the company also held HYBE Family Day. Guests got a rare behind-the-scenes tour of the iconic label’s inner sanctum: rehearsal rooms, studios, screening halls, and even artist recording booths.
It’s a unique move in the often-tightlipped entertainment industry, and one that speaks volumes about HYBE’s evolving corporate culture.
Family First—And Then Some
HYBE isn’t just throwing rooftop parties to win office kudos. The company also offers robust family benefits: extended parental leave, childcare subsidies, caregiver leave, and even partnerships with luxury resorts for employee discounts. Leave it to the house of BTS and SEVENTEEN to make corporate culture feel kind of cool.
