Rom-com overload: October brings star-studded Korean dramas

If you’re looking to level up your watchlist this fall, the CS Home Drama Channel is serving a K-drama buffet too good to miss. From youth romance to spy comedy to a docuseries deep-dive, October’s schedule features top-tier talent like EXO’s Kai, So Ji-sub, Seo In-guk, and rising star Lomon.

“Branding in Seongsu” — When souls collide and careers rewind

Lomon, who caught global attention in All of Us Are Dead, and Kim Ji-eun team up for “Branding in Seongsu.” Premiering October 6, this body-swap office rom-com pits a spicy girlboss CEO against a puppy-like intern — after they magically switch bodies, of course.

Set in Seongsu-dong — Seoul’s trendy branding and startup hub — the drama mixes romance with pitch-deck-level drama as our leads tackle imbalance in the branding world, one rebrand at a time.

“Andante – The Speed of Love” — EXO’s Kai plays it pure and sweet

Starting October 1, Kai shows off his softer side in “Andante ~ The Speed of Love.” Best known as EXO’s powerhouse dancer, Kai here plays Shi-kyung, an innocent high schooler navigating first love and life’s curveballs in a quiet, countryside town.

With scenes at a hospice, high school, and just about every heartstring-tugging setting imaginable, this drama is prime comfort TV. Kai’s charmingly shy character is a total 180 from his stage persona — and fans are here for it.

“Terius Behind Me” — Spy games and baby bottles

So Ji-sub headlines the action-comedy “My Secret Terius ~ A Love Mission,” airing from October 23. He plays a legendary spy gone MIA — who suddenly ends up becoming a live-in babysitter for twins. Yes, really.

It’s got laughs, mystery, and sizzling chemistry with co-star Jung In-sun (Let Me Be Your Knight). The drama made huge waves when it first aired in 2018 — grabbing top viewer ratings and eight awards at the MBC Drama Awards, including the Grand Prize for So Ji-sub.

Also worth noting: It’s the first Korean drama ever to film in Poland, so expect postcard-worthy scenes between car chases.

Seo In-guk’s star power shines in concerts and documentary

While viewers await his upcoming Japan concerts this November, Seo In-guk fans can enjoy a double treat on CS Home Drama Channel.

First, there’s a rerun of his July 2024 Seoul fan meeting “Heart Cream” — complete with a surprise appearance by balladeer K.will. Then comes “SIGnature: The Documentary,” a behind-the-scenes look at In-guk’s mini album process, concert rehearsals, and candid chats.

Narrated by famed host Bae Jeong-hyeong, this doc series is catnip for fans who love watching their bias off-stage, unfiltered, and fully in their feels.

Don’t switch that dial

Whether you’re into body-swap comedy, high school heartache, or mysterious spies turned supernannies, October on CS Home Drama Channel has you covered. And with Seo In-guk’s on-stage magic and off-stage musings, it’s basically a Hallyu harvest festival.

Check back on the channel’s website or official X (formerly Twitter) for time slots and extras. Your next drama obsession is just a binge away.
