Ye Ji-won Reunites with Jazz Vocalist Woong San
South Korean actress Ye Ji-won recently touched hearts online by expressing her deep admiration for her longtime friend, jazz vocalist Woong San.

The two shared a joyful moment together over chimaek (Korean-style fried chicken with beer), a favorite comfort combo in Korea. Ye Ji-won posted a radiant photo of them smiling together on Instagram, along with a heartwarming caption.
“Woong San—someone I truly love,” she wrote. “Just hearing her voice warms my heart. Her music flows into my life like jazz.” She didn’t hold back her praise, adding, “Seriously… her voice is a national treasure.”

Woong San first debuted in 2003 with her album Love Letters. She is currently preparing for an upcoming concert, ‘2025 Yeowoorak Festival: Woong San x Lee Jae-ha MODES’, which will be held on July 17 and 18 at the Daloreum Theater of the National Theater of Korea.

Meanwhile, Ye Ji-won is actively hosting the JTBC health program This Great Body (‘이토록 위대한 몸’), where she serves as the main MC. This year marks her 35th year in show business, and to celebrate, she launched her official fan club “Yejimong”.
