A Movie-Like Teaser That Ends in Mystery
Rookie K-pop group Close Your Eyes (members: Jeon Minwook, Ma Jingxiang, Jang Yeojoon, Kim Sungmin, Song Seungho, Kenshin, Seo Kyungbae) is turning heads once again. On July 1 at 8 PM KST, their agency Uncore released a teaser for their second mini-album ‘Snowy Summer’ through the group’s official YouTube channel.
The teaser opens with member Song Seungho walking into a festive Christmas party carrying a pizza box — but things take a sudden twist. A series of bizarre mishaps ensue, starting with pizza accidentally splattering across Seo Kyungbae’s face. Other members face equally odd and unfortunate fates, all leading to a surreal revelation: they’ve become ghosts observing their own downed bodies.
Ghosts on Christmas? Mystery Meets Music
As the video closes on a tombstone bearing Song Seungho’s name, fans are left wondering — what just happened? The group’s playful acting, the emotional depth of the title track ‘Snowy Summer’, and stunning visuals have already piqued global fan interest.
According to the agency, the storyline explores boys who miss their White Christmas for unexpected reasons and end up celebrating a quirky, otherworldly Christmas in July. From season to setting, Close Your Eyes continues to push musical boundaries with genre-fluid storytelling and creativity that stands out in the K-pop scene.
Tracklist Promises Diverse Sounds
The new album includes four tracks: double title tracks ‘Snowy Summer’ and ‘Paint Candy’, along with ‘ㅠ (You)’ and ‘Bubble Tea in My Left Hand’. The album showcases the group’s smooth vocals and growing emotional depth, promising fans an immersive listening experience.
