Xdinary Heroes Lights Up Summer with Explosive New Track
JYP Entertainment’s rising K-pop rock band Xdinary Heroes (XH) turned up the heat this summer with their first special concert series, ‘Xdinary Heroes Summer Special <The Xcape>’, held from July 4th to 6th at the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium in Seoul. The concert served as both a gift and a ‘getaway’ for fans looking to escape their everyday routine.
An Electrifying Opening
Members Gunil, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han, and Jooyeon kicked off the show with the adrenaline-pumping track ‘FIGHT ME’, setting the tone for an electrifying evening. Fans were treated to a rock-fueled setlist featuring hits like ‘Break the Brake’, ‘BBB (Bitter But Better)’, ‘Freddy’, and ‘Enemy’, showcasing the group’s high-level performance skills and musical versatility.
Rock Energy Meets Emotional Depth
The group didn’t just bring the noise—they brought emotion. With genre-spanning songs like ‘Happy Death Day’, ‘Supernatural’, ‘Save Me’, and fan-favorite ‘more than i like’, the band lived up to their nickname as a “melting pot of genres.”
Intimate Fan Moments & Fiery Finale
The group surprised fans by performing on a secondary stage closer to the audience and even running through the arena to personally greet fans. The highlight? A powerful debut of their new single ‘FiRE (My Sweet Misery)’, which was officially released on July 7th at 6 PM KST. With blazing vocals and intense instrumental flair, the track stands as one of the band’s most passionate and musically distinct releases yet.
Encore performances of ‘PLUTO’, ‘불꽃놀이의 밤’ (Fireworks Night), and ‘소년만화’ (Boy Comic) gave fans a sweet and satisfying send-off, capping off a truly “special” summer memory.
Gratitude and Big Dreams
“Every single moment was fun,” the members shared. “We’re thankful to all the fans who made this possible and helped us perform in such a big venue. We’ll keep our promise to grow even bigger and respond to your love with everything we’ve got. We hope this concert was like a cool breeze or a tree’s shade for your summer.”
Onward to the Global Stage
Xdinary Heroes is now setting their sights overseas. Riding the momentum of their latest single, the band is scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago on July 31 (local time)—a major leap for the band as they debut on one of the world’s biggest music festival stages.
