K-pop boy group EVNNE is officially making their return to the music scene on August 4 with a brand-new album. The group teased their comeback with a nostalgic logo motion video, instantly sparking excitement among fans both in Korea and abroad.
New Album Signals a Shift from ‘HOT MESS’
The video, released via the group’s official channels on July 7, unveiled the upcoming album titled ‘LOVE ANECDOTE(S)’. Featuring a scrapbook-style theme with emotional visuals and rhythmic background music, the teaser hinted at a refreshing transformation from their previous edgy and vibrant concept, ‘HOT MESS.’ The release date, ‘04.08.25’ (August 4, 2025), was also prominently displayed.
From Chart-Toppers to Global Tour
The comeback comes nearly six months after the release of their fourth mini-album ‘HOT MESS’. That album not only topped music charts, including KBS2’s Music Bank, but also landed high spots on major Korean streaming services and iTunes charts worldwide. EVNNE members contributed to the songwriting and composing process, showcasing their growing musical talents and solidifying their status as a rising K-pop force.
‘LOVE ANECDOTE(S)’ Marks a New Chapter
The group also recently completed performances across Seoul, Taipei, Melbourne, Sydney, and four Japanese cities as part of their first solo world tour, ‘SET N GO.’ With upcoming shows in Singapore on July 19 and Jakarta on July 26, the announcement of a new album further cements 2025 as a pivotal year for the group.
“We’re excited to share a whole new vibe with our fans. This album shows a completely different side of us,” EVNNE shared during a tour interview.
