A Sweet Serenade to Kick Things Off
Choo Young Woo didn’t just walk on stage—he sang his way into fans’ hearts. Opening with a soulful cover of Park Bogum’s beloved ballad ‘Let’s Go See the Stars’, the rising K-drama actor set a warm, dreamy tone for his first-ever solo fan meeting in Bangkok.
“Who Is Choo?”—A Night of Laughs, Tears, and Surprises
Held under the playful banner “2025 CHOO YOUNG WOO ASIA FANMEETING TOUR: Who (is) Choo?”, the event offered much more than just selfies and smiles. Packed with interactive segments like The Tale of Mr. Choo (a career retrospective), YOUNG WOO & More (scene talk and Q&A), and Who (Mission) Choo? (fan-driven challenges), the night was tailored to bring fans even closer to the star.
“I wanted this fan meeting to reflect everything I am—past, present, and what I hope for in the future,” Choo said during the event. “And Bangkok, you’ve made this debut unforgettable.”
Singing, Dancing, and… a Touch of Theater
Fans got the full spectrum of Choo’s talents. He transformed into his intense character Yang Jaewon from Trauma Code, showcased a heartfelt self-composed digital single If Time Stopped, and danced through a medley of hits from artists like CORTIS and Saja Boys—all different from the Seoul setlist. Clearly, he’s not here for copy-paste concerts.
To cap things off? A gentle send-off with Roy Kim’s soothing The Lullaby. Cue the tears. Lots of them.
Bangkok, Buzz, and Beyond
Prior to the fan meeting, Choo held a press conference that drew a sizable media crowd, reflecting strong local interest. With this Bangkok success under his belt—following a similarly popular event in Seoul—he’s now gearing up for stops in Taipei, Osaka, and Tokyo.
For a guy whose name once prompted fans to ask, “Who’s Choo?”—the answer, these days, seems pretty clear: He’s a rising Hallyu force you’ll want to keep on your radar.
