Fierce Competition for Male Singer of the Year
As of 11:06 PM KST on April 4, 2025, the Netizen Awards voting for Best Singer is in full swing—particularly in the male category where a two-way battle has emerged.
Currently topping the charts is Hwang Youngwoong with 15,060 votes (31.2%). Hot on his heels is Park Jihyun, collecting 12,854 votes (26.6%). The 2,200-vote gap leaves room for a potential shift in rankings should Park gain more support in the coming days.
Behind the top two, Son Taejin stands in third with 4,036 votes (8.4%), followed by Choi Sooho with 2,593 votes (5.4%). Meanwhile, Seo Youngtaek and Enoch are locked in a tight race for fifth and sixth place, trailing with just a few dozen votes apart.
Other notable contenders within the top 10 include Jang Minho (3.7%), Jinwon (3.3%), Hong Isaac (2.1%), and Park Changgeun (2.1%). While the gap between them and the leaders remains substantial, sudden surges in votes could reshuffle final standings.
Female Singer of the Year: Jung Seojoo Takes Commanding Lead
Over in the female category, Jung Seojoo is leading by a landslide. With 12,658 votes (57.5%), she’s far ahead of second-place Bin Yeseo, who has earned 2,555 votes (11.6%).
Trailing behind are My Jin with 1,815 votes (8.3%), Kim Dahyun (5.1%), and Kang Hyeyeon (4.7%). These contenders remain within striking distance of each other, though a leap to first seems improbable—at least for now.
Further down the list are Yang Jieun (3.1%), Song Gain (2.5%), Eun Ga-eun (1.7%), Miss Kim (1.2%), and Hong Jiyoon (1.1%). Although not in the running for the top spot, they may still shake up the mid-tier rankings.
Interestingly, even IU (with 47 votes, 0.2%) and IVE’s Jang Wonyoung (with four votes, 0.0%) have made the list, highlighting the growing diversity of nominee fan bases.

With the male category evolving into a neck-and-neck race between Hwang Youngwoong and Park Jihyun, and Jung Seojoo soaring ahead in the female category, fans are eagerly awaiting the final results. Yet, with the voting still ongoing, the possibility of a twist in the tale remains open.
