In a debut story straight out of a fanfiction dream, rookie boy group AHOF (short for “A House of Friends”) just claimed the top spot in Korea’s August brand reputation rankings for new idol groups, according to the Korean Business Research Institute.

Comprised of members Steven, Seo Jungwoo, Cha Woongki, Zhang Shuaibo, Park Han, JL, Park Juwon, Zieun, and Daisuke, AHOF is officially the breakout story of the summer.

From 50K to Over 1 Million: Their Brand Power Skyrocketed

AHOF’s brand reputation index in August hit 1,045,445, a jaw-dropping 1,779.94% jump from July’s modest 55,611. Their score includes high marks for participation, media exposure, fan interaction, and community buzz.

Netizens described the group with keywords like “lovable,” “youthful,” and “refreshing.” Songs like “Rendezvous” and even B-sides were trending on forums, proving that AHOF is no one-hit wonder—and fans aren’t just here for the visuals.

Record-Breaking Debut Album

Debuting on July 1st with their first mini album ‘WHO WE ARE’, AHOF did not come to play. The album sold 360,985 copies in its first week, placing 5th in all-time K-pop boy group debut album sales. Meanwhile, the music video for “Rendezvous” snagged over 28.8 million views—more than any other boy group debut MV this year.

Music Show Wins? Check.

In one week, AHOF notched their first win on ‘The Show’ (SBS funE). From there, they kept the momentum—securing trophies on Show! Champion (MBC M), Music Bank (KBS2), and K-Pop Up Chart Show (ENA). Rookie who?

Global Fans Are All In

Just days into August, AHOF’s release event in Osaka, Japan packed the venue wall-to-wall. Their upcoming fan concert “AHOF 1ST PHILIPPINE FANCON RENDEZVOUS IN MANILA,” set for August 30, is already sold out.

The group’s name might mean “A House of Friends,” but judging by their soaring stats, they’re building a fan nation instead.
