Newcomer Group AHOF Heads to the Stage Before Debut
AHOF, the rookie K-pop boy band formed by F&F Entertainment, is already turning heads ahead of their official debut. The group—comprising Steven, Seo Jungwoo, Cha Woonggi, Zhang Shuaibo, Park Han, JL, Park Juwon, Zuen, and Daisuke—has been confirmed to perform at the ‘2025 NOL Festival: SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer’ on July 26.
While their formal debut is set for just a few weeks earlier on July 1, AHOF’s pre-debut appearance at one of Korea’s biggest summer music festivals signifies the high anticipation surrounding the group. The event typically features top-tier K-pop acts, making AHOF’s inclusion before their official debut an unusual but attention-grabbing move.
Proving Themselves on Major Stages
The group has already had a taste of the spotlight. On June 19, they performed at MyK FESTA held at Seoul’s KSPO Dome, marking a successful unofficial debut. Sharing stages with seasoned K-pop idols has allowed AHOF to demonstrate their potential early on, capturing attention with their charisma and performance skills.
“It’s not common for pre-debut groups to appear on such major platforms—it shows how much buzz AHOF is generating,” noted one industry insider.
A Glimpse into Their Story: ‘WHO WE ARE’
Set to debut with their first mini album ‘WHO WE ARE’ on July 1 at 6PM KST, AHOF’s music will explore themes of aspiration, growth, and the journey they’ve shared. The project delves into each member’s dreams, the bond they’ve built, and the emotions they’ve experienced—from joy to nervous anticipation.
Later that evening, at 8PM, the group will hold a debut showcase to meet fans for the very first time. It’s a moment symbolic of a new chapter—not just in AHOF’s journey, but in the K-pop scene as well.
A Rising Team Born from ‘Universe League’
The nine members were selected through the SBS audition program ‘Universe League’, which concluded in January. Their group name, AHOF, an acronym that draws intrigue from fans, builds on the buzz from their TV exposure and prepares them for a well-backed industry launch.
With major events already under their belt and fans eagerly awaiting their official debut, AHOF is proving that in K-pop, sometimes the prelude is just as powerful as the debut.
