AHOF Gets Behind the Mic
Rising K-pop rookie group AHOF—made up of Steven, Seo Jungwoo, Cha Woonggi, Jang Shuai Bo, Park Han, JL, Park Juwon, Zeun, and Daisuke—is shaking things up by becoming radio DJs for the first time. From August 20 to September 12, five members of the group will take turns hosting ‘Best Friends School Radio’ on MBC FM4U.
Switching Units, Same Energy
Each week will feature a different duo or unit like Cha Woonggi and Park Juwon—who kicked things off today—allowing chemistry from different members to shine through. Fans can expect plenty of laughter, heartwarming banter, and maybe even some behind-the-scenes tea.
“Expect the Unexpected,” Fans Say
This marks their first DJ gig since debuting just a month ago with their mini-album ‘WHO WE ARE’. And they’ve already proven themselves with record-breaking stats: 5th highest debut album sales among boy groups and a triple music show win for their title track ‘Rendezvous’. Not bad for the new kids on the block, right?
From Airwaves to Global Stages
While they’re mastering radio waves in Korea, AHOF isn’t slowing down internationally either. They sold out all six sessions of their debut release event series in Japan and are returning for a second round starting August 22. On August 30, the group brings their show to Manila, Philippines, for their first-ever local fan concert ‘AHOF 1ST PHILIPPINE FANCON RENDEZVOUS IN MANILA’—which sold out in just 30 minutes.
Catch Them Live—Here’s How
The show airs on Wednesdays and Fridays through the MBC radio YouTube channel, Mhuz, where fans can join real-time livestreams. For night owls, audio broadcasts hit the airwaves Friday at midnight KST on MBC FM4U (91.9 MHz) and through the mini app.
AHOF Is Just Getting Started
With music, radio hosting, and international tours under their belts—all within their first month—AHOF is gunning for the ultimate all-rounder title. If you thought their debut stage was impressive, just wait until you hear what they do with a mic off-stage.
