K-pop Rookie AHOF Sets Tokyo Ablaze with Debut Showcase

Rookie boy group AHOF wrapped up their fiery 2-day album release event in Tokyo, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of Japanese fans with high-octane performances, playful fan interactions, and a live showcase of their debut tracks.

AHOF Takes Over Tokyo

Over the weekend, rising K-pop group AHOF (members: Steven, Seo Jeongwoo, Cha Woongki, Zhang Shuaibo, Park Han, JL, Park Juwon, Zeun, and Daisuke) wrapped up a dazzling two-day release event in Tokyo, Japan. Held on June 8 and 9, the event promoted their first mini album “WHO WE ARE” and brought thousands of local fans face-to-face with the group’s vibrant energy.

From Osaka to Tokyo: Fan Love Only Grows

This Tokyo event followed on the heels of a successful Osaka stop, the group’s first promotional tour in Japan. Building on their momentum, AHOF turned up the heat in Tokyo with more intimate performances and high-energy fan interactions.

Impressive Performances and Live Vocals

During the event, AHOF performed their title track “Rendezvous” along with fan favorites like “Blue School, Green Grass, Red Sneakers” and “MAMMA MIA.” Despite tightly choreographed routines, the members surprised many with stable live vocals, proving that their talent wasn’t just studio-deep.

“They danced like pros and still nailed every note—no lipsync,” said one fan onsite. “That’s rare these days!”

Fan Moments and Playful Charm

Beyond the music, AHOF made sure to create unforgettable memories for fans. Day one featured a random play dance challenge—a popular variety-style game where members showcase spontaneous dance skills—while day two gave fans a chance to capture photo memories during a special photo time session.

The boys took every opportunity to charm the crowd with quick wit, boyish banter, and a down-to-earth attitude that had even first-timers walking away as fans.

Tokyo Today, Manila Next

With one more mini live and talk session scheduled in Tokyo at HMV&BOOKS Shibuya today (June 10), their whirlwind Japan promotions are coming to a close—but not for long. AHOF already has their eyes set on the Philippines, where they’ll hold their first fancon titled “AHOF 1ST PHILIPPINE FANCON RENDEZVOUS IN MANILA” at Manila’s Smart Araneta Coliseum on June 30.

Global Rookie No More?

From Korea to Japan—and soon the Philippines—AHOF’s rapid expansion hints at big ambitions. With visuals, vocals, and variety star potential locked in, AHOF is making a confident case for “Next K-pop Global It Boys.”
