A High-Octane Festival Meets K-pop Precision

On September 15, genre-bending boy group &TEAM set the stage ablaze at ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025, Japan’s largest outdoor rock event held in Chiba’s Soga Sports Park. As the only K-pop act in the lineup, they brought serious heat—and a full live band—to a crowd more used to guitars than synchronized choreography.

The performance kicked off with a band-arranged medley of tracks from their second EP “First Howling : WE”, opening with the explosive title track “FIREWORK.” From there, they kept the energy high with “Go in Blind (Gekkorō),” the million-selling title track of their third single, flexing their signature Wolf DNA concept—think fierce stares and even fiercer footwork.

BTS Cover, Sharp Choreo, and Wolf Power

Just when the crowd thought they’d seen it all, &TEAM dropped a surprise cover of BTS’s “MIC Drop.” The roar from the audience? Deafening. With mic-reversing moves and razor-sharp formations, they served fierce looks and fiercer ambition. Iconic performances of tracks like “Voice Crack” and fan-favorite “Ookami-kei Danshi (Wolf-Type Boys)” solidified their alpha energy—complete with synchronized mic stand tilts that made fans scream.

“We gain so much energy performing for you,” said HARUA during their mid-set talk. “We’re working hard for our Korean debut and we want to take our music to the world.”

A New Chapter in Korea

That global stage is coming fast. At their recent anniversary fan event “&TEAM 3rd Anniversary [縁 DAY]”, the group announced the release of their first Korean mini-album “Back to Life” on October 28, marking their official debut in Korea. It’s a major milestone for a group that started in Japan but always had wider horizons.

Sub-leader FUMA told the crowd, “We want this to be a performance people will remember.” Mission accomplished—especially when they wrapped with the anthemic “Feel the Pulse”, a track that had the entire venue jumping in unison, hands in the air and hearts pounding as one.

Million Milestone and Saitama Stadium Next

&TEAM’s third single “Go in Blind (Gekkorō)” recently surpassed one million shipments, earning Gold Disc Million certification—an achievement that places them firmly among Japan’s top-tier artists. And they’re not slowing down. On October 25–26, they’ll hit Saitama Super Arena with their biggest encore shows to date, wrapping their Asia tour with a bang.

From Tokyo to Seoul—and beyond—&TEAM is proving they’re not just another K-pop group. They’re a force, and they’re just getting started.

So, ready to feel the pulse?
