CLOSE YOUR EYES Teases Comeback with Enchanting Nighttime Concept Photos
The K-pop boy group CLOSE YOUR EYES (Jeon Minwook, Ma Jingxiang, Jang Yeojoon, Kim Seongmin, Song Seungho, Kenshin, Seo Kyungbae) is turning up the heat this July with snowflakes and fairy lights. The septet recently unveiled their third concept photo set for their upcoming second mini album, Snowy Summer, drawing attention for their dreamy visuals.
A Midsummer Night’s Fantasy
The freshly released images, shared by their agency Uncore on July 4 at 8 p.m. (KST), feature the members sitting inside a car under a starlit sky, all casting wide-eyed stares outside the window. It’s as if they’re witnessing something magical beyond the glass — and frankly, so are we.
Further unit and solo concept images show the members exploring an empty amusement park at night. Vivid lights blur across the scenes, creating a whimsical and mysterious mood. One teaser image poses the question: “Are You Ready?” — clearly signaling that fans should prepare for an unforgettable comeback.
Christmas Comes Early… or Just Late
The album Snowy Summer tells the story of boys who, due to unexpected circumstances, miss out on a white Christmas. Instead, they create their own festive celebration in July. Think of it as Christmas in July, with added K-pop flair — an inventive concept that transcends seasons, genres, and even time.
The album features four songs in total, including the double title tracks Snowy Summer and Paint Candy, as well as ㅠ (You) and Bubble Tea. Each track brings a unique vibe, showcasing the group’s versatility.
Special Support from Actor Lee Soo-hyuk
Adding buzz to the release is none other than actor Lee Soo-hyuk, who previously served as MC during CLOSE YOUR EYES’ appearance on JTBC’s Project 7. He’s now backing the group through teaser videos and highlight medley cameos, bringing even more attention to the comeback.
With plans to promote both title tracks on music shows, CLOSE YOUR EYES is set to make waves in the global K-pop scene.
Album Release Date
Snowy Summer, the group’s second mini album, will be released on July 9 at 6 p.m. KST through various music platforms worldwide.
So mark your calendars — K-pop is about to get a sprinkle of snow this summer.
