Cosmosy Takes Their First Step Toward Global Stardom
K-pop girl group Cosmosy has officially kickstarted their international promotional tour with a strategic campaign in Los Angeles. According to Sony Music Korea, the group departed for LA on July 4 to prepare for their new single “BabyDon’tCry=BreakingTheLove”—nicknamed ‘Bedonk’.
Special Guest at Anime Expo 2025
On July 5 (local time), Cosmosy appeared as special guests at the Anime Expo 2025 in LA. During the event, they met international fans face-to-face and introduced key elements of their unique Universe, dropping hints about their upcoming projects along the way.
Immersive Listening Party and Art Launch
The group will continue their LA schedule on July 11 with a private listening party and art concept premiere held at Melrose Street. The party is styled as an interactive exhibition space visualizing the concept of an “emotional control serum.” The multisensory installation reflects the narrative behind their new track, inviting fans to experience fantasy and emotion firsthand.
“Bedonk” Fuses Fantasy With Emotional Storytelling
Cosmosy’s upcoming single “Bedonk” is a conceptually rich pop track inspired by a fictional miracle eye drop that stops sadness. Bridging fantasy and reality, the song embodies dreamy, almost magical visuals and delivers a captivating emotional narrative. It’s expected to set Cosmosy apart with its artistic storytelling and memorable imagery.
Album Preview and Music Video Shoot
In addition to the listening event, the group is also filming the music video for the follow-up single to their debut EP “the a(e)nd”. The full album, led by ‘Bedonk’, is scheduled for release later this summer.
Expanding Beyond Borders
“This project is more than just a comeback,” a representative of Sony Music Korea commented. “It’s an experimental narrative exploring emotion, imagination, and reality—all deeply connected with the fans through interactive storytelling.”
After wrapping up activities in LA, Cosmosy is set to continue their overseas schedule, making their next appearance at the UTO FEST IN BANGKOK 2025 on July 19 in Thailand.
