ENHYPEN Wraps Up Successful Promotions with ‘DESIRE : UNLEASH’
ENHYPEN has once again proven its influence in the K-pop world with the release of their 6th mini album, ‘DESIRE : UNLEASH’. Following their final stage on SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’, the group took to social media to thank fans and promised a powerful return.
Record-breaking Sales and Chart Performance
Right from the release, the album showed incredible sales momentum, breaking ENHYPEN’s own first-day sales record. It also ranked as the second-highest first-week sales for a K-pop album in 2024. On the Billboard 200, the album secured the No. 3 spot, marking the group’s fifth consecutive Top 10 entry. In Japan, they topped both the Oricon and Billboard Japan charts, further stamping their global mark.
Celebrated Performers and Global Praise
The title track ‘Bad Desire (With or Without You)’ earned them three music show wins, confirming their reputation as ‘performance kings’. Forbes described ENHYPEN as “one of K-pop’s most spotlighted groups in the world,” while Billboard Philippines praised their uniqueness and artistic identity.
Upcoming World Tour and Japanese Releases
Building on their momentum, ENHYPEN is gearing up for an ambitious second half of 2024. In July and August, they’ll hold stadium concerts across major Japanese cities as part of the ‘ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘WALK THE LINE’ IN JAPAN -SUMMER EDITION-‘. From August to September, they’ll visit 10 cities across the U.S. and Europe for a total of 12 shows. This marks the shortest time for a K-pop group to enter stadium venues in Japan since debut.
They’ll also stay connected with Japanese fans through the release of their 4th Japanese single ‘宵 -YOI-‘, which includes three songs about love’s desires and instincts. A showcase is scheduled in Japan on July 31 to mark the release.
Expanding Their Global Footprint
ENHYPEN’s continuous expansion of tour destinations and scale each year reflects their ever-growing global influence. Fans worldwide are eager to see how their journey will unfold in the coming months.
