ENHYPEN’s Global Chart Power Could Flip Netizen Awards Results

Despite trailing in the Netizen Awards, ENHYPEN is turning heads with solid global performance on the Billboard charts and beyond.

ENHYPEN Trails in Votes, But Global Impact Tells a Different Story

At first glance, ENHYPEN appears to be lagging in the July Netizen Awards’ ‘Best Group’ category. As of July 23 at 6:24 p.m. KST, the group sits at 19th place with just 18 votes. But underneath the surface, a different kind of momentum is brewing—one powered by the fierce loyalty of their international fanbase, known as ENGENE.

Billboard Charts Say It All

The group’s sixth mini-album, DESIRE : UNLEASH, may not be topping local votes, but it’s holding strong globally. According to the latest Billboard charts dated July 26 (U.S. local time), the album sits at No. 163 on the Billboard 200. That marks six consecutive weeks on the chart since its debut at No. 3 on June 21.

ENHYPEN also ranked high on several key Billboard sub-charts: No. 2 on World Albums, No. 9 on Top Current Album Sales, and No. 11 on Top Album Sales. Translation? Their international fans aren’t just streaming—they’re buying, big time.

K-pop Kings in Korea, Too

Back home, the numbers are just as impressive. On the first-half Circle Chart, ENHYPEN notched the second-highest first-week album sales among K-pop acts, selling 2.14 million copies. Stateside, music analytics firm Luminate ranked the group third in ‘Top 10 CD Albums’ and ninth in ‘Top 10 Albums’ for the first half of 2025.

In Japan, a major overseas market for K-pop, ENHYPEN also made waves—landing ninth place on the Oricon mid-year chart after just three days of sales. That kind of fast-paced impact is rare, even in the competitive J-pop landscape.

The Next Chapter: Japan Comeback & Global Tour

ENHYPEN isn’t slowing down. On July 29, they’ll release their new Japanese single ‘宵 -YOI-’, followed by a fan showcase on the 31st. Meanwhile, their world tour ‘WALK THE LINE’ is taking them across Tokyo, Osaka, the U.S., Europe, and Singapore—basically, all the places their ENGENEs call home.

Can Global Love Fuel a Domestic Comeback?

Sure, the Netizen Awards are based on Korean fan votes, but remember—momentum has a way of catching on. With the group’s international steam engine running full speed ahead, there’s a very real chance for a late-stage comeback in the rankings. One thing is clear: if local fans rally behind them, ENHYPEN could make the ‘Best Group’ race a lot more interesting.

So, will ENHYPEN’s global dominance finally reflect in domestic votes? The world—and K-pop fans—are watching.
