EPEX to Drop Third Full-Length Album on July 28
K-pop boy group EPEX has officially announced their comeback. On July 28 at 6 PM (KST), the group will release their third studio album titled Youth Chapter 3: ROMANTIC YOUTH, completing their trilogy centered on youth.
Concluding a Poetic Youth Journey
This upcoming release wraps up the youth-themed series that began with their first album Prelude of Youth and was followed by the second album Book of Anxiety. Each installment has delved into a different emotional phase of adolescence, exploring both the angst and beauty of being young.
The new album’s Korean title, ‘So-hwa 3jang: Nangman Cheongchun’ (소화 3장: 낭만 청춘), uses poetic language reflecting fleeting beauty and romantic nostalgia, staying true to its theme.
Teaser Image Offers a Dreamy Glimpse
EPEX offered a sneak peek of their new concept with a teaser image released on June 30 via their official social media. The serene visual features a vividly blooming flower island floating in the sea while a whale leaps nearby, evoking a calming and uplifting mood — a promising hint at the album’s overall atmosphere.
Global Projects & Collaborations
Beyond their album release, EPEX has been keeping up an active global presence. Their ‘Book of Anxiety’ concert tour across Asia received strong fan support earlier this year. In May, the group released ‘so nice’ in collaboration with U.S. retro synth-pop duo joan, showcasing their breezy, cheerful side.
They also recently became official ambassadors for ‘Talk Talk Korea 2025’, an international content competition organized by Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Additionally, they’re drawing attention overseas through collaborations with popular Japanese retail chains like Don Quijote, Apita, and Piago, and even appeared on the runway of Tokyo Girls Collection (TGC).
Comeback After Eight Months
This marks EPEX’s full-length album comeback after an eight-month hiatus. Fans can look forward to its digital release on all major music platforms on July 28 at 6 PM (KST).
EPEX continues their journey with a message deeply rooted in the emotions and nostalgic dreams of youth — offering not just music, but a relatable story for their generation.
