By CBC News – K-pop sensation Hwang Youngwoong has once again captured the top spot in the February 2025 Netizen Awards for Male Singer, achieving a notable milestone with his tenth consecutive monthly win. He also joined the coveted ‘100K Club’ by gathering more than 100,000 votes.

Over 100,000 Votes for Third Time

The voting closed on March 31, with Hwang earning a total of 109,614 votes, accounting for 33.9% of the total. This performance secured him not only the first place but also recognition as the most voted artist of the month.

A Generous Star On and Off Stage

Adding to his fan-favorite status, Hwang recently donated 100 million KRW (approximately $75,000 USD) to support victims of the Gyeongbuk wildfires, according to the Korean Red Cross. His fan club, Paradise, followed suit with an additional 40 million KRW donation. “I will quietly continue to share support with those impacted until the situation is restored,” said Hwang.

Close Contenders and Strong Performances

Trailing behind in second place was Park Jihyun with 78,880 votes (24.4%), marking her return to the 70K club for the first time since November 2024. Third place went to Son Taejin, who earned 29,906 votes (9.2%), narrowly missing inclusion in the 30K club.
